Welcome to Downplay, the new audio downloads store from BrassPass TV available globally, and bringing you new and exclusive brass music every week. We shall build the store into a huge audio library utilising the vast back catalogue of BrassPass TV, plus putting up brand new content every.

To launch the site we have a very special debut album of The JSVB Legacy Band "saluting The Kings of Swing", with an all star cast including Richard Marshall, Tom Hutchinson, Mark Harrison, Brett Baker, Gav Saynor, Jonathan Bates and Gary Curtin, to name but a few - what a line up!! And all superbly conducted by David Thornton. Its an album not to be missed and will be the first of a stunning eight albums coming out in the next two months from the band.

We have also put the audio versions of our terrific "In The Spotlight" series, done through lockdown last year as solo recitals with piano accompaniment. Some stunning performances from the likes of Russell Gray, Dan Thomas, Paul Archibald, Ben Godfrey, Richard Marshall, Zoe Lovatt Cooper and lots more - check out the solo recitals page.

One thing to mention, the site development hosting team do not have a fully operational cart on board yet, so each album you purchase will need to be a separate transaction. Our apologies for this, it is something being worked on and we hope to have installed as soon as possible.
